Why A/L ICT?
While this lesson's video is on its way — here's why it's worth taking ICT further to A/L.
AI is Changing Every Job — And Improving the IT Field
AI and automation are taking over routine work in almost every industry — even parts of software engineering. The jobs that last belong to people who understand, build and direct technology.
Whatever field you choose, A/L ICT puts you on the side of the people who build and run those systems — not the side being replaced by them.
ICT is one of the highest-scoring A/L subjects, and you can take it in the Science, Commerce, Arts and Technology streams. Our own students have reached Z-scores of 2.7 and 2.9 with Maths, Physics & ICT.
Programming, databases, networking and system design lead to software engineering, data science, cyber security and AI — and Sri Lanka’s fast-growing IT & BPM industry.
O/L ICT already taught you the core logic — A/L ICT builds straight on top of it, with our rankers’ track record to guide you the rest of the way.
